Xaviator Airports 1.0.1 Released
Today I got Xaviator Airports up on the App Store℠ and for those of you wondering what it does, lets take a look at some of the features.
It will let you look up “almost” any airport in the world, so lets say you’re approaching your destination, and you’ll be doing an instrument landing, there’s a couple of things you need to know, firstly which runways support an ILS approach? What are the ILS frequencies? What is the elevation of this airport, so you know what altitude to descend to.
With Xaviator Airports, you can either search for airports by inputting the ICAO code, or the airport’s name, and it will return to you a host of information about that airport, like location, elevation, how many runways the airport has, you can even get various information on each runway in addition to those mentioned above, such as length, width, surface type. You can also get ATC Frequencies, and even view the airport on a map.
If you have purchased this app and have a feature you’re dying to see, don’t hesitate to visit the Xaviator Airports home page and drop me a note in the suggestion box.
